Culture Wars: Politics vs Principles
Weigh in with your views on the issues of the day: the place of religion in politics, our use and abuse of animals, climate change and energy policy, taxes and fiscal reform, privacy and the Internet, and other topics suggested by members of the class. In this moderated, but loosely structured class, we will wrestle with values-based issues and debate whether, in our complex democracy, seemingly irreconcilable views can be addressed in a civil manner.
