Baltimore Arts and Crafts: Fabergé to Contemporary Treasures
Begin the day at the Walters Art Museum in Baltimore, one of only a few museums in the world to present a panorama of art from the third millennium B.C. to the early 20th century. Enjoy a docent-led tour of the museum's special exhibit, Fabergé and the Russian Crafts Tradition: An Empire's Legacy, exploring the Russian crafts tradition that culminated in the creativity of the workshop of Carl Fabergé, with over 70 stunning objects on display. Following the tour, you will have time on your own to further explore the museum's extensive collection. Then head to the Baltimore Convention Center for the American Craft Show featuring high-quality American craft from more than 650 top contemporary jewelry, clothing, furniture, and home décor artists from across the country. Lunch on your own at the museum café, Convention Center or nearby Inner Harbor restaurants.
