1968: A Year of Global Revolt Tell a Friend about this Course

Europe experienced a wave of mass protests in 1968. Prague Spring and French student and worker strikes drew worldwide attention, while further demonstrations in Berlin, Warsaw, and elsewhere targeted dictatorships, bureaucratic elites, political repression, and the Vietnam War. Movements in Tunisia, Senegal, Mexico, and Japan demonstrate that protest was not limited to Europe. This Hot Topic Happy Hour focuses on Global '68 and its causes and legacies to give a fuller picture of a critical year.
