The Climate Crisis and Its Solutions Tell a Friend about this Course

Climate change is emerging as the most important environmental and public health issue of our time. Dr. Richard Tolin, a member of the Climate Reality Project Leadership Corps, will review basic climatology and emphasize the impact of climate change on global systems of nutrition, water and health. Data specific to Pennsylvania and a discussion of the tools available to mitigate the effects of climate change will be included. Climate Reality Project, founded in 2007 by Nobel Laureate and former U.S. Vice President Al Gore, is dedicated to catalyzing a global solution to the climate crises by making urgent action a necessity across every level of society.
