Walk in Washington's Footsteps at Mt Vernon Tell a Friend about this Course

George Washington's mansion, Mt. Vernon in Virginia, is one of the most iconic historic buildings in America. Washington personally supervised each renovation; advising on design, construction and decoration - even during the Revolutionary War. After our guided tour of the mansion, an expert on Washington will take us on a walking tour of the property, giving a broad overview of General Washington's accomplishments, character and vision. We will also visit Pioneer Farm that Washington used as a laboratory for testing and implementing progressive farming practices. Lunch on your own.
