Old Masters at the Frick and Firsts at the Explorers Club Tell a Friend about this Course

Join us at the Frick Museum in New York to visit the Old Masters collected by Pittsburgh Industrialist Henry Clay Frick (1849-1919) housed in his former residence, one of NYC's few remaining gilded age mansions. Lunch on your own following the tour. We will then visit the Explorers Club. The Club’s members have been responsible for an illustrious series of famous firsts: first to the North Pole, first to the South Pole, first to the summit of Mount Everest, first to the deepest point in the ocean, first to the surface of the moon. Our docent-led tour will give us the opportunity to see some of these famous exploratory artifacts.
