Stem cell-based regenerative medicine holds tremendous promise for treating a wide range of disorders. Currently, both pluripotent, embryonic-like stem cells and adult, organ-specific stem cells are being applied as cell-based therapies, as models of human diseases, and in drug discovery. Join Drs. Jamie Shuda and Chris Lengner from the University of Pennsylvania's Institute for Regenerative Medicine for a night of exploring how scientists are learning more about the fundamental regenerative properties of stem cells, current controversies, and future outlook.
