Celtic Women Writers: Ireland, Scotland, Wales Tell a Friend about this Course

Not just Dylan Thomas, who wrote in English, but Kate Roberts and Fflur Dafydd, who are Welsh-language authors! Not just W.B. Yeats but Lady Gregory and Maria Edgeworth (who preceded even Jane Austen!) Not just Seamus Heaney but Nuala Ní Dhomhnaill and Máire Mhac an tSaoi (Irish-language poets!) Mairi Nic a Phearsain and Meg Bateman will represent Scotland. Explore the less well known women writers in the Celtic tradition and help make them more well known.
