Bedazzled! A Facts & Facets Primer on Estate Jewelry Tell a Friend about this Course

Experts Steven Schiffman and David Atlas have close to 90 years of combined expertise in the estate jewelry and appraisal fields and are willing to share what the professionals know during this unique, behind the scenes exploration of estate jewelry. You’ll learn about jewelry motifs from the Victorian Era to modern times and gain an understanding of gold, diamonds and colored gems, including how they are graded and the nuances of value and price. Final session focuses on selling and buying, including what you need to know about the market, insurance and appraisals, including “fair market value” for IRS tax purposes. Bring your own personal treasures — No question will go unanswered about your favorite piece of jewelry during the fun finale to this substantive course.
