Compare and contrast some of the major religious doctrines and teachings to see their points of development, comparison, and contrasts. Gain a greater understanding of the beliefs of various religions through discussion of issues including: the moral or ethical life; views on death; influence of religions on society, government, culture, war, and peace; and whether religions are in competition.
