How Horses Heal, Transform and Empower Tell a Friend about this Course

Horses have been with us since the dawn of time. In today’s world of constant stimulation, over-committed, and chronic busyness, horses may have a few things to teach us about our lives. Noticing, slowing down, lingering, staying present to what is directly in front of us are a few tools they can offer stressed out humans of today. Mindy will offer experiential exercises, didactic learning, as well as wisdom and insight from a 55 year history with horses. From discussing mirror neurons as well as how to rewire our brains, we will explore what horses can offer us in today’s world. For the last session, class will be held onsite at Chunk of Heaven Horse Farm in Newtown Square, one of the last working horse farms in Delaware County.
