Frank Stella at Princeton Museum and Morven House and Garden
'Frank Stella Unbound: Literature and Printmaking' focuses on a revolutionary period in the artist’s printmaking career, when Stella executed four ambitious print series, each of which was named after a distinct literary work: the Passover song Had Gadya, the epic American novel Moby Dick, and the illustrated The Dictionary of Imaginary Places. Stella created prints of unprecedented scale and complexity. After visiting Princeton Museum to see this magnificent show, we will break for lunch on Nassau Street on your own, followed by a visit to Morven. Richard Stockton, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence built the home in 1750 on land granted to his grandfather by William Penn in 1701. (3 footprints)
