Art of Fashion as Storytelling Tell a Friend about this Course

What is fashion except a way to define or hide your identity – or at least, what you project it to be? Clothing choices over time can tell the story of your life history, revealing how you or others may have changed. Enjoy a visual treat by exploring the ways that people use clothing to express their personalities, statuses, spirituality and creativity. Look at the way fashion is used in contemporary culture and the media and contrast that with historical perspectives. Examine the cultural connections between what people wore and what artists painted and the changing concept of beauty.
