Compelling Topics in American History Tell a Friend about this Course

Examine the Constitution and learn about the remarkable document which established the United States Government. Review each of the seven articles of the Constitution and the twenty-seven amendments and how a document created in 1787 continues to successfully function in a world far different than the conditions that prevailed at the time it was written. See how the Electoral College works and gain historical perspectives on contests for the presidency, including disputed elections and the roles of the Electoral College, the House of Representatives, the Senate, and the Supreme Court in determining the outcome of the election. Returning students certainly welcome.
