David Bowie at the Brooklyn Museum and Roses in the Botanic Garden Tell a Friend about this Course

"David Bowie is" at the Brooklyn Museum explores the creative process of an artist who revolutionized the way we see music, This exhibit, organized by the Victoria and Albert Museum, has been touring globally for five years and is taking its final bow at the Brooklyn Museum. The archive is presented within an immersive, multimedia installation that includes continuous audio along with headsets, projected animation and video. Feel free to visit the Sackler Center for Feminist Art or the American Galleries when you are finished with the David Bowie exhibit. After the museum, a guided tour will provide a glimpse into the fabulous blooms at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. The Cranford Rose Garden is in full glory in June, including varieties planted in 1927. Water lilies, lotus plants, and fragrant flowers will all delight the senses. Lunch on your own at the museum or Botanic Garden.
