Drawing RealisticTextures Tell a Friend about this Course

Expand your drawing skills with a focus on learning to see. Have fun with a variety of exercises while working from textures such as ceramic, stone, wood, metal, glass or fabric. Explore different ways to draw with pencils by blending, toning, drawing with an eraser and working with light and shadow to create a sense of realism.

Notes:Materials to bring to class: -Graphite pencils from 2H up to 6B or 8B -Generals brand Kimberly 9XXB (suggested, not required). Order from -A kneaded eraser (the gray moldable one) and a white or pink eraser -Cotton balls, Q-tips, Blending Stump -Chamois cloth (used for blending) -Pencil sharpener -8x10 Drawing paper (not sketch paper) -A skewer stick or a skinny handled paintbrush (if you have one). We will use this for taking measurements as needed.
