American Women Writers at the Turn of the 20th Century Tell a Friend about this Course

The early 1890s through the 1920s saw an explosion in short stories and novels by women in the United States. Take a look at the short stories and one novel by the most outstanding of these authors: Edith Wharton, Willa Cather, Charlotte Perkins Gilman, Sarah Orne Jewett, and Ellen Glasgow.
