Sci-Fi Print to Film: 2001 and Others Tell a Friend about this Course

Did you enjoy A Wrinkle in Time as a child? Did you ever even track down the original short story behind the movie A.I. aka Artificial Intelligence? And did you read the actual novel of 2001: A Space Odyssey in hopes of figuring out what the movie's mysterious ending really means? Examine the life of the authors and filmmakers, compare the books to the films, and consider the role of each in the context of their times, from the 1960s to our era.
