Japanese Tea in Philly Tell a Friend about this Course

Join us in Fairmont Park at Shofuso, where you can relax in the serenity of this traditional style Japanese house and garden. After a guided tour of the house, enjoy a demonstration of a Japanese tea ceremony. Hear a brief history of tea in Japan, taste a traditional sweet and make a bowl of matcha green tea. After, feed the koi fish that swim in a pond under a 75-year-old weeping cherry tree and explore the beautiful garden landscape that stretches for more than an acre.
