The Human Microbiome and Your Health Tell a Friend about this Course

Until recently, 'microbiome' was not a well-known term and medical schools did not even include lectures about it in their curriculum. In 2012, The Human Microbiome Project published the results of a ground-breaking study and the field has exploded ever since. Explore the human microbiome (microorganisms living in the human body) with Dr. Kent Bottles and discover the complicated relationship they have to health and disease and how these diseases are affected by what we eat.
