Media, Politics and Rhetoric in 2018 Tell a Friend about this Course

Discussions about politics as communication, a deep dive into the ways politicians use media. Current news is analyzed in the context of the uses of media in American history. Lively class discussions are structured around links to real time newsfeeds and on slide presentations designed to isolate the elements of rhetoric: audience, speaker, message. Any and all political viewpoints are welcome.
