Zimbabwean Marimba Band Tell a Friend about this Course

Play in a Zimbabwean Marimba band. Based on the Shona style music of Zimbabwe, this multi-part groove based music is fun, relaxing and relatively easy to learn. All patterns are learned by rote so no music reading is necessary. Marimba, a cousin of the Xylophone, is a wonderful sounding instrument which is technically easier to play than most instruments and produces a beautiful woody tone. Instruments provided and no experience needed.
