Leonardo da Vinci: Italian Renaissance Master Tell a Friend about this Course

May 2019 marks the 500th anniversary of the death of Italian "Renaissance man" Leonardo da Vinci. Bill Gates noted this master of painting, architecture, engineering, science, anatomy, geology, botany and astronomy as coming “close to understanding almost all of what was known on the planet at the time.” Explore his detailed drawings and artistic masterpieces, including The Mona Lisa and The Last Supper, marvel at his conceptualizations of such modern-day inventions as the helicopter and submarine, and discover his continuing legacy.
