The Art of Dürer Tell a Friend about this Course

Albrecht Dürer was one of the most important artists of the 16th century Northern Renaissance. Raising the status of woodcuts and engravings through his unrivaled technical ability, he also mastered the challenges of oil painting, linear perspective, and classical proportion following his visits to Venice. These illustrated lectures will explore a selection of Dürer's large output, both in painting and printmaking.
