Placebo Effect: Fake Medicine or Real Cure? Tell a Friend about this Course

Explore the fascinating subject of placebo medicine. The placebo effect happens when the suffering patient gets better from treatments that have no discernible reason to work. Physicians have long recognized that the placebo effect especially works in patients with chronic stress-related conditions. Dr. Kent Bottles will provide an up-to-date overview of this subject that is being illuminated by functional MRI studies.
